I offer manuscript evaluations, first chapter critiquing, line editing, copy editing, and proofreading services for all genres of fiction. My specialty is in editing dark fiction novels.

Yes! No matter your level of experience, I am here to help your writing shine. 

Yes. Sample edits are a great way to see if we are a good fit for one another. Just contact me, and then you can send me a small 1,000 word excerpt from the middle of your book via an e-mail attachment with zero obligation. 

Yes. I include 1-3 revision edits depending on our agreement and your chosen services. If you still want an additional pass through your revised work, I offer an add-on service, The Second Coming, for just that. It is typically half of the rate of the original service. 

The cost of my services depends on the length of your novel and the level of editing required.

Absolutely not. AI can't feel dread, and it certainly doesn't understand the delicate balance of a dark romance hero. I review every word personally to ensure your unique voice and the tension of your story remain intact, preserving the visceral impact and atmospheric grit that machines often strip away. 

Yes. Check out my package deals on the Investment page. I also offer a 10% discount to all military personnel, veterans, first responders, and their spouses—just include this information in your initial inquiry so I can apply the discount. Please note these discounts cannot be combined with other promotional offers or rush fees. 

This is entirely dependent on the length of your novel and the complexity of the edit. 

I do strive to provide a quick and efficient service. Generally, once you are on my schedule, turnaround time is two to six weeks after I've received your manuscript. We can discuss a specific deadline during the initial consultation.

Yes, a non-refundable deposit of 50% is required on all projects when the contracts are signed. This also acts as a reservation fee. I cannot add your project to my schedule until the deposit is paid. 

After we've come to an agreement on project terms, I will send you a contract to review and sign. After signing the contract,  I will send you an invoice for 50% of your total bill. Once payment is received I will add you to my schedule. Please note I cannot begin work until the 50% deposit is paid. I will keep you informed on my progress throughout the edit, so you know the work will be done within our agreed-upon time frame. The remaining 50% is due before delivery of the edited manuscript. When I finish editing, I will send you an e-mail informing you of completion along with the final invoice. Once that final invoice is paid I will send you the edited manuscript. 

If you need more payment flexibility, we can also do 3 payments of 33% each (one due upfront, one due during the editing, and the final due before delivery),

Yes. I offer expedited services for those in a time crunch. Rush services incur a 60% premium and are subject to availability. Email me with your desired service, word count, and your "drop-dead" date for a custom quote. 

No, I cannot help with that. My expertise is in polishing your manuscript in preparation for the next steps.
